LAC Artists

The artist program is not currently taking applications. Send us an email if you’re interested in joining our mailing list for future artist opportunities.

We’re looking for board members!

Your expertise is needed to help our nonprofit 501(c)3 organization. Contribute via strategic planning, financial oversight, assigned projects, and regular meetings. Previous nonprofit board experience is preferred, and an annual financial contribution is required.

Other opportunities:

• Event planning team: Help organize, curate, solicit resources from the community, and be a part of meetings to make a show or event happen. There is a new planning team for each event we hold.

• Event volunteers: Be at an event to help it run smoothly. Taking tickets, talking to attendees about LAC, working the point of sale system, setting up/tearing down the space, performing or presenting, etc.

• Grant writing and/or fundraising: Working with board members and the executive director to apply for available organizational funding and solicit donations from the public/other orgs.

• Marketing and social media: Help promote our organization and events by creating graphics, posting on our social media accounts, submitting our opportunities to public lists, running advertising campaigns, etc.

• Artist liaisons: Organize and communicate with LAC artists about our organization’s opportunities and events in the community. Assist in reviewing LAC artist applications. Generally engage with artists to determine their needs.
